Midterm Sprint: Kamala’s Powerful Pep Talk Fuels Campaign Momentum

Related

Kamala Harris kicked off a Democratic get‑out‑the‑vote push with a stark message: feeling powerless makes you powerless, feeling powerful makes you powerful.

She joined a GOTV event on Monday, 29 days before Election Day, urging Democrats to return to the streets, knock on doors, make calls and drive turnout.

“You know when you feel powerless you are powerless. When you feel powerful you are powerful,” Harris said, adding, “And we are powerful.”

Midterms Looming

Harris emphasized collective strength, saying the nation stands together and the voice of the people carries real power.

She warned that Americans have endured a year and a half of hopelessness and powerlessness, positioning the midterms as a chance to reset the country’s direction.

“We can change the course of this administration’s policies,” she told the crowd, stressing that voters hold the lever to alter the trajectory.

She denounced the Trump administration as “the most callous, corrupt and incompetent presidential administration we’ve ever experienced,” attributing the charge to the White House.

Harris linked rising gas prices to the Iran war, noting a 50% increase, and said many families struggle to afford groceries for the week.

Targeted States

She outlined opportunities to flip House and Senate seats, governorships and state legislatures in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin.

Constitutional Concerns

Calling Trump a “tyrant,” she argued the Founders anticipated a president abusing power and designed three co‑equal branches to check that abuse.

“Our founders imagined a tyrant occupying the White House,” Harris said, warning that the Supreme Court cannot be relied upon for protection.

She urged Democrats to focus on Congress, noting that voters can reshape its composition in November to restore checks and balances.

Harris concluded by thanking volunteers, reminding them that their work matters and that hard work is essential.
