CIA Director John Ratcliffe landed in Moscow on Tuesday, meeting Russian intelligence officials as a U.S. military transport plane touched down at Vnukovo airport.

Trump called the visit “very sort of semi‑routine” on “The Glenn Beck Program” and said the United States is “working very hard to get that war ended.”
He added that both sides want the conflict finished and that developments may soon emerge.
Fox News Digital has sought comment from the White House, the CIA and the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said contacts occurred via security services but denied any meeting with President Putin, noting that Putin is kept fully informed of all developments.
The previous CIA director to visit Moscow was William Burns in November 2021, three months before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
A senior Ukrainian official told the Associated Press that Washington warned Kyiv to suspend strikes while the delegation was in Moscow.
The request applied only to Moscow, St. Petersburg and some northern regions, while strikes continued elsewhere, the official said on condition of anonymity.
Video captured the transport plane landing at Vnukovo, a flight the Kremlin initially claimed it had no information about.
Flightradar24 data shows the Boeing C‑17A Globemaster III departed Joint Base Andrews on Sunday, stopped in Riga, and arrived in Moscow Tuesday morning.
The last direct European‑to‑Russia flight occurred in January when Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met Putin about the Ukraine war, Reuters reported.
