Upgrading to the $130 Executive membership adds a 2% annual reward on qualifying purchases up to $1,250, the company says.
That upgrade costs $65 more than the $65 Gold Star plan, so members need roughly $3,250 in yearly spending to break even, according to Money Talks News.
3. Use Costco Travel for packages, cruises and rental cars
Costco Travel provides access to vacation bundles, cruises, hotels and rental cars, and Executive members earn the 2% reward on travel purchases after the trip, the site reports.
