Park officials confirmed that no injuries were reported from the incident, which occurred in a designated viewing area.
Bison are powerful, unpredictable animals; getting within a few meters of one can result in serious injury or death.
In another incident, a bison in Yellowstone knocked a vehicle’s tire, illustrating the danger of close encounters.
“Bison can move faster than you could imagine,” a park ranger warned, citing multiple recent attacks.
Visitors continue to approach the animals despite repeated warnings, a pattern highlighted by comments on the video.
One YouTube viewer wrote, “Can’t fix stupid,” while another noted, “People being STUPID!!” and a third added, “Amazing. I don’t know how some people find their way out of bed in the morning.”
These remarks underscore a broader trend of reckless behavior around wildlife, a problem park managers are actively trying to curb.
